The Ideas Foyer

My wife once came up with a very original way of telling me she loved me. I got up from the computer one day to get something from upstairs. When I came back down 10 minutes later I found that my machine had switched the screensaver on, which had been changed to a text marquee saying “I love you Steve”. I have to say, it made me smile no end!

However, thinking about the basics of this idea more, it could potentially be used to benefit many different circumstances. For example, if you worked in an office block and wanted to ask someone out, you could simply wait until (s)he goes out to wherever, go and quickly change his/her screensaver to say what you would like to ask and leave. If you are the shy type then it is especially good for the fact that it gives you time to get out of there first!
