Candles, as we all know, seem to carry with them a very unique atmosphere. Even when used one at a time their flame can give almost any room a warm, cosy feeling. The effects they can have when used in multiple though can be just plain amazing!

If you want to surprise someone – maybe they are just coming home from a day at work, maybe back from a trip somewhere, why not make it extra special. Buy as many candles as you please (the small tee candles are especially effective as so many can be bought for so cheap). Place them generously around your main living room area and light all at once (though please be careful where you place your candles – don’t forget, they are a fire hazard).

The glow that all of your candles will produce when lit will give your room an almost spiritual feeling and one which could relax even the most tired or workers. It is perfect for romantic dinners too.
